If you looked at his game film, it's hard to argue. Since he was playing mostly hurt this year we have little to no idea what his true deep ball looks like. I'd like to think that it's much better that what he was showing most of the year.

Best deep pass he threw was a TD dropped by Williams.

I just don't even remember him throwing many true deep balls last year.

Throwing a deep ball in the pro day is nowhere near equivalent to throwing it in a live game. There shouldn't even be a gotcha moment or comparison when describing the two

The Jets have lost more games over the last five years. Those years of back to back AFC title games and beating playoff Brady were a long time ago at this point
