Has to be one of the best coach steals of all time. He even took less to go there. Crazy what can happen when you change scenery. The man has a clear path to the Sweet 16 and they have a legit chance to make it to the Final Four.

If I beg you to take the bitch that's driving me crazy ... and you then do it and like it ... you can call it a lot of things.

But stealing isn't one of them. This conversation got old a year ago. We didn't want him and were delighted when he left ... because we couldn't afford to fire him. We still don't want him back. And don't care how much he wins in Fayetteville.

But that's really the deal, now isn't it. Not that Calipari isn't doing better at Arky than his last few years in Lexington. He is. But this notion that Kentucky should want him back.

Spoiler Alert - we do not.

That's great to hear. Happy y'all replaced him with another great coach that's going to be there for a long long time.

And again, thank you Arkansas. Thank you Tyson Chicken (which I still buy - its typically a good value).

Its what I said ... you want us to regret that he's gone. You'll find very few Kentucky fans that do. Seriously. I'm glad you like him. I'm not going to do the thing where I tell you that he'll crash and burn. Because I just don't care.

He's not in Lexington anymore. I'm glad. But there is this thing in people ... not all Arky fans but just some that like to troll ... that burns where they want UK fans to regret him leaving.

I wish he would have left about four years earlier. And took Barnhart with him.

We did not. Mark Pope was a shite hire. A "he makes me feel good" hire, typical of Mitch Barnhart.

Mitch Barnhart had one guy he wanted to hire. Scott Drew from Baylor. When Baylor backed out ? The Mitch Barnhart Coaching Search was over. Hence, Mark Pope. Doesn't hurt that Mitch's right hand man, Marc Hill, is also Mormon.

In order of people I'm glad are gone from Kentucky in the past three years ?

1 - John Calipari
2 - Mitch Barnhart ... although I don't think he's really gone. He'll meddle.
3 - Mark Stoops

Hit all those down-votes you want. This the the equivalent of all you baws looking at that hot arse shaking on the dance floor, and trying to rib the old boy that's glad she's gone.

Still glad she's gone. Help yourselves, baws.

He had good years at Kentucky, but it had run its course. He needed a change and Kentucky needed a fresh face. It was good for both parties.

Any argument about Kentucky wanting him back or him ever considering going back is ridiculous. That chapter is over forever.

Arky was my hero then, they are now.

We hired budget Caliprai, same results less money. Whole parting of the calimari was a win for UK imho.

One NCAA tournament win his last five years at UK. For a school that has gone to the Sweet 16, forty five times that doesn’t cut it.

He had extremely talented teams that could not win at tournament time.

He has had a re-set. Good for you. He was complacent here.

Pope has problems, no doubt. But he doesn’t have a lifetime contract. He may not be around long.

We gave him away. It wasn't working here anymore, and most rational people knew it.

He could also lose to high point

I feel it is payback for Eddie Sutton. But we owe them more. You hit me once I hit you more a lot more. No matter how long it takes to get even.

I think the payback for him was our years in probation.

But we did get Pitino out of it.

Honestly. Trolls just want Kentucky fans to wish he had stayed.

I'm still delighted his arrogant arse had somebody willing to pay him to leave. Because God knows Barnhart had negotiated a contract so shitty he couldn't get fired. And Calipari knew it.

I'm glad the Lexington Experience was so shitty for him he chose to leave. Still am.

We wanted him gone for several years. Whatever helps Arkansas fans sleep at night, we don't particularly care.

We are glad he is gone.
