Well, we got a rather generous draw. Can we take advantage? When is the last time Mizzou won an NCAAT game in the state of MO?

I agree. Hope we aren't DTF up this STL opportunity.

I tried that joke on tigerboard and it landed like a wet fart.

if my research is correct, we have only won one NCAAT game in the state of MO and it was in KC in 1944. We have never won an NCAAT game in STL.

Anyone know if that correct?

The only other NCAA tourney game Mizzou has ever played in St. Louis was in 1982 where we lost to the Drexler/Olajuwon-led Houston Cougars, 79-78.

would be huge to get the W in our home state.

Even better would be two Ws.

And with these team, I seriously don't know if the second win would be any more likely or unlikely.
The schizophrenic pendulum does swing both ways this season.
And we have lost a few here recently. Time for a winning streak.

anyone betting on this team is retarded but this team does have the tangibles to do real damage when we dont turn the ball over and crash the boards.

The first rule of Mizzou sports is never bet for Mizzou.

The corollary is never bet against Mizzou.

In other words, all bets are off.

Mizzou people actually wonder why we don't schedule SLU.

No, we don’t. It’s a lose lose proposition.

We should schedule them at this point just to have a quality non-con game.

Seems like every few years or so they’re a quality tourney team.

Under their current coach they might be, but how long will he stay there?

Most years they do not seem to be a very high quality opponent so not too much credit for beating them and it could be a bad look with a loss

It still seems like most years they are well better than 300+ ranked kenpom teams.

If a 0-18 conference record doesn't bother anyone in the AD, then a loss to SLU won't damage what little pride we have left in our basketball program.
