I’ll say the two times Alabama has won it the last five years and fell short of the final four- the conference title seemed pointless.
Success in the tournament is all that matters, and not the conference tourney.

It doesn’t matter. It’s our programs 8th conference tournament title…it’s not banner worthy. But if you’re playing a game, the idea is to win it.

It doesn't really matter. It still feels good to win a game. It'd have felt shitty to lose the game. But the conference tournament is usually just an exhibition game unless you're on the bubble and you need the wins. It's possible we just moved up a seed, so that's the reason most of us are stoked right now.
