Average to bad years are now the norm.

Success is fleeting.

Hope and morale are low.

Sound like kindred spirits to me.

No. Kentucky is still the winningist program of all time and has 8 championships spanning 70 years.

Florida has 2 chips when they caught lightning in a bottle.

So no not even close to the same

No, Florida fans don't blame the refs after EVERY loss

I don’t know if UK has gotten that bad yet. Florida football has been such an abomination for a good while now. I can't believe how they can't find a coach who can field a competitive team. UK did make a Sweet 16 last year in Pope's first season. Maybe UK eventually reaches those depths under Pope, but I would say they aren't quite in UF football territory yet.

I’d say Tennessee football, they’re not Florida bad yet.

I wish that someday we could do as much in football as Kentucky has in basketball.

We haven't. This season, I'm not sure what to think. Everyone talks about the roster cost, but JQ not recovering and playing was a bit unexpected. We all knew he likely wouldn't play till January, but him playing in a couple of games and that being it was unexpected.

Only having one real PG again, and losing him again to a season ending injury basically at big blue madness, again, unexpected. You could argue, as I would that Pope needed a 2nd PG, considering last year, they lost both to injury.

Kam Williams breaking his foot on a freak accident. It's just a lot to overcome. The current starting 5 looks nothing like was envisioned.

Injuries are a part of it, but jeez, we seem to have more than our fair share. This team really can't run any offense without a PG and it showed last night.

And I read this morning that Aberdeen was sick yesterday, so just add that on top.

This has become a "write it off" season. Pope overpaid for several guys. He needs a GM, and it finally look like they are hiring one.

Nope, UK has been good a basketball for almost 100 years. UF didn’t think football existed until 1990

Sorry man, but one 9-1 season followed by 4 seasons of five losses or more is not the start of something special. 1990 is your start date for continuous relevance.

Jayden Quaintance was coming off an injury but still being projected high in the draft. Him ever playing meaningful minutes was a pipe dream.

I’d say KY as the dominant Sec team is over.

Quit fooling yourself. Pope was a terrible hire from the start.
