- Had unprecedented success the season prior, then the head coach left them for an in conference rival.
- The head coach was then accused of all manner of wrongdoing
- Immediately promoted the young assistant who was very popular with the players, in hopes of retaining talent and the staff
- Staff retention was a mixed bag
- Returned the vast majority of their talent and had very high expectations going into the following season

Aggy felt a lot better after their season was personally ended by LSU, before the NCAA Tournament, once Schloss went 0-2 vs UTSA in a home regional

You got the wrong team! LSU with Lame Kiffin. Yes, I know that LSU sucked last year but LSU with Lame Kiffin should make the playoffs and got one of the top recruiting classes and transfer classes. Right there is your answer for a huge let down.
