I wish he would have tried “callin’ Baton Rouge”. And gotten through!

No way he wins the Heisman under Bobo’s tutelage.

Mendoza is a great kid but Stockton is our guy. Seems hard for dumbasses to comprehend.

I really don’t think he’s an elite guy. Indiana just had an all around great team. His numbers aren’t eye popping. He was a good game manager with a good supporting cast and great defense.

I don’t think Mendoza pushes Georgia over the top. Cignetti built a great team from top to bottom

Kurtis Rourke had a similar season with Indiana last year and went 11-1. One big difference is that in 2025 Indiana defense set the tone early in the playoff games with turnovers. They also shutdown Ohio State, Mendoza made some nice plays but their defense was key in defeating Ohio State, Alabama, and Oregon. 3 powerhouses combined for 28 points in 3 games against Indiana. That’s not Mendoza

Word was Bobo's relationship with Stockton's family was what made him pick Indiana over Georgia.

Anyway, Mendoza wasn't going to make the defense play any better.

Interesting. I don't think this is true considering he wanted to go to Miami. That was his dream school coming out of highschool. He played highschool ball in Miami.
