Just rewatched game 2 from CWS last year and 2 thoughts.

- those 2 games absolutely should have been for the title, it sucks we met in the same bracket

- did SS ever give a reason behind that fielder’s choice

Good luck to you boys this year. That’s a hell of a program DVH has put together.

If the NCAA can’t pair up SEC teams in the Supers, they’ll do all they can to do it in Omaha.

Last year’s bracket was a joke.

Aloy made a mental mistake but that wasn’t even close to as bad as pitching to Bear Jones when first base was empty.

That was 110% on DVH and inexcusable from a HC.

Would you say DVH has put together the best program without a title?

Would be a shame if they don’t even have that because of Florida State.

One mental error by the shortstop and a routine ball to left and a routine ball to second that should’ve been caught cost Arkansas the game

That was far from a routine fly ball.

A ball bit hard with topspin at night is one of the most difficult plays for an outfielder. Felt bad for the kid.

DVH pitching to the hottest hitter in the CWS with first base open was truly the worst coaching decision I’ve ever seen.

Too bad LSU fans didn’t have that reason and compassion immediately after the game. It was brutal in here lol

That game would have been nice to win but we aren’t beating you in the next game with the pitcher you had available

Having played the outfield for many years including college and professionally the ball to left was routine. If it had been hit right at him it would have been difficult. As it was it was hit to his right making it easy. The problem was he took a step back slipped when he tried to come up and over and then slipped again when he got to the ball. After the game the left fielder was distraught at missing something routine. Arkansas outfielders had trouble all year judging balls and taking the correct angles Good outfield play can be taught. Great outfield play can’t be taught it comes naturally.

The ball hit to second was also misplayed. Jumped to soon and the ball hit tip of the glove.

Just rewatched it and the ball made contact with his glove at the peak of his jump, so I don't think he jumped too soon. It was a tough, but makeable catch

Agreed last year’s bracket was total horsehit. There were no 2 teams better than us and the hogs.

I remember fully. The relentless troll shite around here is a bit much but honest conversations can still be had.

2003-2017 DVH was an overachiever.

2018-2025 DVH was an underachiever.

that one was at least understandable. The ball was just slightly off the end of the bat, and with Jones hitting, he tried to time the ball up thinking it was barreled, which it appeared to be at contact

Baseball tends to filter some of the nonsense out.
