Crappiest coaching he could have picked at auburn.. run off by the cult. Instant superstar at oregon. Had a sure superbowl appearance but broken ankle in the 2nd to last play in ot in the division semis.

And then his team’s fate sealed by stidham, from the school that ran him off.

Whicever fambly member stuck the pin in the voodoo doll, please remove it. Haven’t y’all made him suffer enough?

Bo never leaves Auburn if they don’t panic and fire Gus. Tells you everything you need to know about their program the last five years when they can’t even hold onto the kid of an Auburn man.

Glad to see him have success though. I had plenty of Auburn fans tell me he wasn’t that good after he left. He won in HS and was great with his dad coaching him. He knew to get the hell away from Harsin and that dumpster fire.

Can’t disagree. And I still think he made a good choice in going to Oregon. Wish it would have worked out at Auburn.

The strangest thing about Nix at Auburn is they never gave him credit for anything. He was always the scapegoat, but never the problem.

Auburn had one of the worst OLs in the SEC while he was there, but fairly low sack numbers - because Nix bailed them out with his feet multiple times per drive.

Don't know any AU fan not pulling for him to succeed.

AU were fricking idiots, but par for the course.

Maybe there were some. But for the most part fans blamed the O-Line and most attribute the downfall of Gus of having a bad O-Line.

just to play a teeny bit of devil's advocate, it's entirely possible bo isn't the bo we know today if he stays in AU. Much like how hurts was an absolute disaster of a passer at bama to the point he was benched on the biggest stage, to turnign into an incredible passer at OU and the NFL. Sometimes you need a change of scenery.

Oregon has a high flying up tempo offense that suited Bo perfectly. He was probably going to keep floundering at AU with gus's outdated scheme.

I think most saw Bo running for his life due to a horrible offensive line and recievers that couldn't get open or catch.

He's an Auburn man if there ever was one but I don't blame him for getting tf out of dodge when he could go to Oregon.

I know. It was maddening.

But I believe Cam and the 2013 season had a lot to do with that. I guess Auburn fans expected a little dash of pixie dust on Nix to make all the problems go away

After enduring Finley, Ashford, Thorne, and Arnold I have to think Auburn fans are wayyy more realistic now.
