Sankey needs to step in and start rescheduling or canceling games. Expecting teams to travel during the worst winter storm in 40 years is insane. And the attendance will be almost zero.

Based on the subject line I thought you might have actually started a thread that wasn't about Greg Sankey

If they can get there, I say play them.

Then you'll be bitching when nothing happens, just like you did when we postponed our '88 match-up because of Gilbert.

Nope. I can assure you travel across the southeast will be hazardous.

Regarding the 1986 game chicken curry used an excuse not to play on a sunny day with perfect football weather because his starting Qb was hurt.

Jackie Sherrill was interviewed on TV from the 50 yard line with nice sunny weather and I believe he was the most pissed I have ever seen him.

No. I have survived long enough to see some very bad things happen due to bad decisions.

I played ball in the era when a forearm shiver to the head was not a penalty but considered a good football move. Don't talk to me about softness.

Drinking water during practice was not allowed but our team had a guy die from heat stroke, and after that we were allowed to drink some water.

Brother we've got Hakeem Olajuwon 2.0 suiting up in Tuscaloosa and this guy is gonna play at least six minutes and score two points (or go one-and-one from the line).

We need this.

He must be Hakeem Olajuwon 2.0 judging by the way everybody is melting.
