Clemson letting out the details of Golding and their previously signed commit

Ferreli, the 2025 ACC Defensive Rookie of the Year, signed with Clemson and enrolled in classes over a week ago. He has been attending classes, team meetings, and workouts over this period.
Ferreli, who was set to make 800k from Clemson, was originally offered 7 figures from Pete Golding personally on the final day of the portal. He laughed at this offer and reported the tampering to Clemson, sending them proof of the texts.
After being confronted personally by Clemson, Rebels HC Pete Golding doubled the offer to $2m+. Clemson still thought they were in good standing with Ferreli based on what he’d told them, until they could not get in touch with him.
Expect lawsuits from Clemson against Ferreli and Ole Miss to follow, along with athletic directors attempting to put an end to the craziness that these schools have to deal with now."

Just because it wasn't a rev share agreement, doesn't mean it wasn't an agreement.

Clemson was dumb and didn’t have rev share attached to their deal with him.
The current structure of NIL/Rev share only has teeth if the deals include rev share. At the end of the day if the kid wants to go to ole miss the only thing that could stop him is ole miss having to overpay and spend too much money via a buyout to Clemson. Since we didn’t have that there’s nothing they can do.
The LSU situation is similar since PU wanted to move to LSU, but lsu had to determine on their end if the $550k buyout was worth it on top of the pay raise they had to give PU.
