Not as good as FSU under Bowden from 1987 - 2001.

He was in the Top 5 for 15 years. Crazy.

Looks like 14 of 25 years in the top 10. On one of if not the most historic runs in CFB and Alabama has 17 of 25 top 10 finishes since 2000.

Looks like Tennessee is at 4 of 25, LSU 7 of 25, Auburn 5 of 25, Florida 5 of 25, Texas 7 0f 25, Oklahoma at 13 of 25 and everybody else. Ohio state also at 13 of 25.

What Georgia has accomplished over the last decade is beyond admirable.

Enjoy it. And do not take this run for granted.

Always remember that when it goes to shite, it goes quick.

Looks like you peaked and the decline has started. Going to get worse, for all of SEC. Big10 has more money at the end of the day.

It'd be interesting to know how many times in college football history a team beat every team it played but didn't win the national championship.

2011 LSU is the only other one I can think of.

If Georgia gets its own tDecline on this board, that would be very flattering!

Such a misleading stat. FSU was the only team in the ACC for most of that tenure. They were independent until 1991.

Bowden does not get that stretch if FSU joined SEC.

The whole conference is, unless we get our act in order. No national title in 3 years, have to go back to 2000-2002 for last time that occurred.

what the frick does that have to do with the OP?

Even if you're a UGA hater which most of this board is, that is a remarkable feat especially in this day and age.

66 Alabama
93 Auburn
94 Penn State
96 Florida State
2004 Auburn
2017 UCF

These are all undefeated (Edit: Florida State was undefeated before the rematch with UF) and off the top of my head; they didn't have a loss they later avenged in a rematch. I think Tulane had an undefeated team in the 90s as well

Yeah, looking back, I should've gone thrown in a "but didn't go undefeated there" somewhere.
