No one else comes close. 16-0 greatest to ever do it.

Most unlikely champs sure.

We have the same SP+ metrics wise. They have the best FEI ever. I think our 2019 offense would be able to pick on their defense, we were just too talented. It would be a shoot out for sure though. We had the better offense but their defense is better.

This thread reminds me of the time that Aggie couldn't score a TD in their own stadium against the team that lost in the national championship game.

A fb natty is new for Indiana so pump the brakes. The Hoosiers were clearly the best tean in CF this year and congrats ! But the LSU 2019 team were the best CF team evee assembled and would have smoked this Indiana team. Miami scored 21 ... LSU woulda hung 45 on em - just celebrate & be happy !

Not sure that they are best but would compare to LSU 2019. Burrow Chase JJ Clyde

Would have LSU edging them like their Bama game

This team struggled with a two lost Miami. If you can’t recall a better team than Indiana, then you must be about four years old because I assure you every national champion in the last decade had a better team than this. College football isn’t what it used to be it’s now all up to the highest bidder may the guy with the most money win.

Definitely the best 16-0 team but that’s about it.

Their largest deficit all season was 7 points, which they faced twice. Once to OSU in the B1GCG and once to frickin Old Dominion in the first game of the season

They never trailed in the playoff.

In a 16-game season that's absurd.

GOAT team, probably not. But they're pretty damn well up there.

01 Miami, 05 USC, 2019 LSU, 95 Nebraska, 05 Texas Longhorns etc would beat them without question.

They also trailed Penn State and Iowa both in the 4th quarter.

2019 LSU did not trail a game in the 4th through 15 games.

Largest deficit was 10 in the championship game, which they faced once… won that game 45-25.
