Based on the info they had at the time, the committee did ok on 1-10. It’s the two G5 charity spots that Notre Dame fans should be most upset about

If this was 2026 rules, Notre Dame would have been in the 2025 playoffs and Miami would have been fighting for the final post versus a G5 team.

Notre Dame should be quietly and consistently pushed in the direction of joining the Big 10. The ACC should look to end any affiliation with Notre Dame.

Conference championships should remain a qualifier for playoff access, and a means to ensure competitive quality.
