Oklahoma using this professional player from Russia, signed midseason from a pro league, is ridiculous.
I hope they lose every game.

Wait a minute. LSU taking players from Ole Miss is fine per rules. OU taking a half year mid season player per rules is evil.
Your beef isn’t with OU my friend.

Oh, a shite on OU thread?
But, I can’t really fault OU here. We have pretty much blown up any arguments for “amateurism” in College sports.

From Oct. why didn’t other teams take him? They missed out. Its not an OU problem but NCAA one. They approved him.
Russian big man Kirill Elatontsev has been cleared by the NCAA and has one year of eligibility in college, source told TheFieldOf68
.
Kirill Elatontsev, 23, is a versatile 6-11 center who has been playing for Lukomotiv Kuban in the VTB United League - and been named league’s Best Young Player for the last two seasons. Elatontsev averaged 7.0 points and 4.4 rebounds this past year.
Elatontsev has also been on the Russian National team and is one of the more accomplished overseas players that will land in college.

So some low-moral school will eventually just run a team of Euroleaguers out there and win a title. Doesn’t make it right.
I hope OU loses every game.
