We've got a solid DT from USC, a couple bargain OL, a great Punter, and a 6'4 corner from Mercer.
Honestly its not terrible so far, but we've had the obvious 2 big misses.

It’s been a net negative so far when you count all of the departures in the portal.
A lot of former top 100 recruits have left and there aren’t many they’re being replaced with.

You can still get HS recruits at a bargain. Top experienced players come at a premium price.

Please, we didn’t buy all of those #1 recruiting classes year after year.
I can promise you Nick Saban’s lukewarm personality wasn’t the one attracting all of those high school players to Tuscaloosa.
He was great at getting the boosters aligned to open their checkbooks and Kirby took that blueprint with him to Athens.
