Football is cyclical and while the sec has went all in on spread pass happy offenses and smaller defenders to match speed the last 10 years, it seems now places around the country like Michigan, Notre dame in years past and now Indiana and Miami have went back to big boy football where they just lean on you, and the sec can’t handle the physicality. Sad times. We let in Texas and OU and turn into the big 12.

We can’t stack talent anymore. It’s a more even playing field.

League is more finesse it’s just a fact. Not a team in this league can match the physicality of Miami or Indiana.

Absolutely

League isn’t close to the old days when Saban and Miles teams would go out of conference and just wear teams out for 60 minutes.

Remember how Alabama did Michigan State in those two bowl games? That era is over

SEC isn’t easy, but I also don’t want to hear how the SEC is the deepest it’s ever been, it’s not.

Well said. What SEC team can line up and run the ball right at you?

Unfortunately LSU has certainly done our part in making it so
