No wonder he fell off a cliff

1. Bursa Sac in elbow

2 Lower Back injury suffered vs South Carolina

3.Gastritis, due to Meds taken for Lower Back which caused him to lose weight

4. And then obviously Broken Ribs vs Indiana.

No wonder his play fell off a cliff. Credit to him for trying to tough it out but if He had all that wrong with him DeBoer should have went to Mack for the betterment of the team

Does this explain is autistic abilities and his brain meltdowns. No brain injuries it looks like. Just comes natural

Look, Ty fell off and we can blame him and he certainly deserves some, but I'd defy anyone to show me a successful quarterback with the incompetent level of run game that we had this year. Running stats (Yards per game) vs. P5 opponents of the major contenders this year:

Alabama: 85 ypg

Oregon: 203 ypg

Indiana: 197 ypg

Miami: 144 ypg

Ole Miss: 169 ypg

Georgia: 175 ypg

A&M: 187 ypg

Notre Dame: 199 ypg

Ohio State: 139 ypg

--

We can talk all day long about Ty's shortcomings or WR production or whatever else, but until that gets fixed, no quarterback that we put behind center is going to be highly successful. And quite honestly, given the "balance" of this offense, Ty performed damn well. My only real complaint with him is the downfield passing, and I think we should have taken a lot more shots than we did.

Unless it was a member of the medical staff, HIPPA doesn't apply.

"A source close to Simpson" could be a family member, an agent, another player, none of whom are restricted by HIPPA.

As I look back at it, I can see that now. I don't understand why I missed it the first time.

So why was he playing? Staff is too soft to make a player sit or do they have guaranteed spot in their contracts?

Think all of this is being strategically leaked to improve draft stock.

Maybe staff was worried his draft stock would plummet if they sat him?

Theres no reasonable excuse for him to have been on the field if all of this is true.

NFL teams will have access to medicals. They don't need anonymous reports to get information. Maybe there is some level of Ty or his representative wanting to sugarcoat the last half of the season, but Ty's health was a pretty constant topic of conversation during the season. People saw him getting his back worked on in-game. People noticed many of the other issues. Maybe this reporter was digging to get answers, or he very well could have just been given this information wanting to tidy things up.

Coaching malpractice if true.

Correct Ty had his short comings but Alabama won many other titles with far less talented QBs and the main thing that those QBs had was an elite OL and elite RBs with an elite run game. This team needed Ty to be Tua or Bryce to make a deep run. Those guys don’t come around every year.

Harder to make a change when you're pulling out wins. After the Oklahoma comeback, I'm sure hopes were high that his health was solid.

I agree our OL was average, but our RBs flat out suck.

None of them had the ability to break tackles this season.

I simply dont believe its all on the line when 3 of those guys are projected draft picks.

It’s not. I’m Just not willing to put this all on the QB which is what fans tend to do. The RBs are horrible, don’t hit holes, can’t see holes, can’t block and don’t run screens particularly well. This offense lacked continuity and efficiency for most of the season. You would see spurts of it for 2-3 drives every game which tended to be a bough because our defense bailed us out most games but when we played teams who operate at an elite level like Georgia at times at least and Indiana who operate that way all the time you get what we got in the SEC Cg and the Rose Bowl.

That little Indiana back did more in that game than our backs have done all season.

He was running up though and around guys all game.
