Not going to realistically until someone pays me and don’t care enough about the opinions here to do so.

But out of curiosity, how did the SEC become such shite?

What if Ole Miss beats Miami? Does that mean anything for your premise?

The only thing different about the SEC is Alabama isn't as strong as it once was.

the best players wanted to play for or against he GOAT. now the SEC is just another conference with one very good coach and a few decent ones. just like the B1G. which has/will lead to a more even distribution of talent, especially with NIL/portal

Has nothing to do with Saban or he wouldn’t have left. The B1G isn’t in the heart of football talent, but they have the alums and resources after NIL to bring them out of there. No longer are the days where only Alabama can pay for players + give them a charger.

Alabama went from winning 50% of the national championships to none recently.

You know, that whole dynasty thing and all.

It's an entire conference, not just you gumps.

What an egocentric jackass.

Ok, please tell me the SEC teams that have replaced Alabama and what Alabama had been doing for the SEC over the past 15+ years.

Yeah, the SEC was best from top to bottom and now it's no longer the best at the top.

Almost like a top team isn't doing what it was doing.

Not replaced but since Bama’s last, three championships have been had by two schools with the possibility of a third school playing for another in the next couple of weeks.

Bama isn’t Bama pre 2018, still a great program but not carrying the conference as you suggest.

This whole thing is cyclical. Ten years ago the Big10 was said to be dead because nobody wanted to go play in cold weather states.

96-05 three different Big12 teams won championships. And the conference was probably the deepest overall as far as quality through ‘09.

The SEC was dominant as all hell for good long time, but nothing can be forever. Other programs have resources and pride as well.
