If ty was hurt and Deboer knew ty couldn't perform to a level that would give us a score and stay in game.... That's just piss poor. You don't let the player run the show. I truly believe putting a QB out there and getting a score would have gone a long way in that game.

Just terrible to trot an injured QB that can't throw out there. And it showed... Two screens plays and a check down on 3rd and long on first series.

They pulled him because of his performance after the first drive after the half. They are saying it was because of the injury to save his draft stock.

They absolutely pulled him for performance, but way too late.

False, he was rocked… no doubt, but he was pulled, and threw his helmet for theatrics… now he had a cracked rib at half and then was allowed to start and “pull himself”… riiiiight, ok, he was pulled and injured to save face…

He’s been injured since the end of the Missouri game.

You can trace his injury back to when his stats fell off.

He went from Heisman front runner to Milroe level production.

I dont believe it, doesn't keep him from making the right reads.

You ever throw a disc in your neck or back?

The list of things you do well is short and it throws off even basic mechanical tasks.

If he had truly been hurt this bad this long, this coaching staff is worse than anyone accuses them of being.

Because he is a competitor and you respect it. That’s the kind of stuff that shows the rest of your team what it means to be a competitor.

Yes

But he was still throwing and completing passes. With force.

.
All the more reason to go down after making the yards to gain.
Nooo, he was trying to get extra yards and showcase his dynamic scrambling ability and got the ball knocked out AND “injured” as an extra add on.

He hasn’t. This is all bs. Today they talked about the elbow on his throwing arm being inflamed. It’s a pile of excuses.

Remember that time Jalen Hurts threw his helmet when he got benched in a championship game?

Yeah, me neither.

Not how he was before the injury.

Every single metric, every single passing chart, PFF, SP+ related analysis… they all show he went from NFL 1.1 level passing pre-injury to barely starter level.

We'll just have to disagree on this one. I do think he'll get better when he's in the nfl with better coaching though just dont think he's hurt. Not a ty hater per se and not that I didnt pull for Mack to come in.

Yeah that’s why they called a run play for him vs an FCS team back in Nov

Ty’s dad says he’s hurt.

Ty said he’s hurt.

TV says he’s hurt.

He’s been getting treatment on the sidelines and on video.

I’m not sure what the debate is here.

I'd be willing to believe this if he were still making good decisions in the pocket and trying to make the right throws but was just uncharacteristically off target. But he hasn't been doing that. He hasn't been making good decisions. He's been clearly afraid to make throws unless the receiver is wide fricking open since the middle of the season.

We thought they messed up last year not benching Milroe, turns out no one else was ready.

We have no idea what they were seeing from Mack in practice, but what I saw today before I turned it off wasn’t consistently good.

Ty was hurt, but able to play until he wasn’t today. Unfortunately I suspect we just didn’t have anyone championship ready behind him and with no running game you get what you got today.

I never once thought this was a championship level team due to the OL and running issues so maybe I’m just more appreciative of what they did and less angry at what they didn’t do than most.

We beat LSU, TN and AU along with wins at UGA and OU along with making the CFP and winning a game there. That’s a pretty damn good year for a team with an obvious ceiling and many flaws.
