No they should have never been given the NIL opportunity. As mush as I think someone not being able to sign an autograph is bullshite its just an a situation you can't regulate. If they can make money off NIL all that's gonna happen is some donor is going to make a 5 million dollar offer to rep their company that they would never offer anyone else. The nfl should make a farm league and draft them.

They are being paid millions because millions are being made from watching them play. Pretty fair. Just need to find some way to make it where they are being paid only out of the profits (revenue sharing), get legit private NIL deals (something a company would normally give an athlete to promote their product) and not boosters just giving them money to play.
