Bowl Games Show Indiana and Ohio State are more battle tested than UGA, Bama or Ole Miss

Get ready for an Indiana - Ohio State rematch. They dominated what is clearly the superior conference in the Big 10. Indiana and Ohio State dismantled the Illinois team that beat Tennessee last night, far worse than Alabama did. Ohio State and Indiana also beat Penn State, who easily handled Clemson.
I never thought I would say this, but I don't think Alabama has the discipline or the toughness to beat Indiana or Ohio State. UGA is probably the only team, but Ohio State or Indiana will go head to head with them in toughness.
It's going to be an Indiana - Ohio State rematch in the NC Game.

Say what you want, but the Big 10 is by far the better conference now. And due to that, their teams are more battle tested. The SEC schedule no longer gives SEC teams the edge it used to.

It’s been this way for 4 seasons now.
UGA was fortunate to beat Ohio State in the Peach Bowl.

Don’t use bowl season as a measuring stick. With opt outs and coaching changes, most teams are entirely different.

At the end of the day, the CFP and Bowl Games are how people will judge the strength of the conferences. I can tell you this right now, based off the bowl performance this year, the SEC isn't getting 5 teams in the CFP next year. The invincible perception of the SEC has been destroyed.

This.
The Big 10 players don't opt out of bowl games.
The money hungry, selfish SEC players opt out.
I mean, frick, Garrett Nussmeier had almost 2 months to heal from an "undisclosed" injury and he still didn't play in the Texas Bowl.
Thanks, Leonard fricking Fournette.

Exactly. Big bad UGA, for all it's success, was a missed field goal away from only have 1 National Title. And if I remember correctly, there were some controversial calls in that game as well. Ohio State outplayed UGA in that game and I think outplays them this year as well if they meet up.
The SEC really hasn't been dominant since 2021. Even in Saban's last year, he lost to the Big 10 in the CFP.

Not convinced. Not enough common opponents to compare.

OSU had 2 14 point leads and lost the game. Sorry to hurt your feelings.
Damn I’d love to bark in your face rn

Ok, cancel the games.

There's no material difference in opt outs for the Iowa-Vandy game.

UGA outgained them by nearly 70 yards. Outscored them 18-3 in the 4th qtr.
They got dominated at the end of the game. UGA also missed a FG earlier in the second half.

Nuss’s injury was due to his falling draft stock. I don’t believe for a second he was still injured when they played Oklahoma.
I think the measuring stick is postseason play. Whether or not that’s “fair” is debatable. But that’s what it has been for a long time.
Just my opinion…I think SEC schools have owned such a talent gap for so long that they have become fundamentally complacent. That same mindset leads to more “business decisions” by the players once it becomes clear the season goals aren’t going to happen.

Big words from typical trash UGA fans. Bark in my face, you'll be on the ground before you can wimper like a whipped puppy.

Talent is a lot more concentrated at 3-4 programs in the big 10 and is a lot more dispersed in the SEC. This is because almost every single SEC puts a strong emphasis on football and more than half the big 10 teams don’t.
This is the exact opposite of the situation you describe in the OP, but it also makes it more likely a big 10 team will win it all.

You're arguing with a troll account.

Troll or not, Ohio State isn’t as impressive as they’ve been sucked off to be. The two best teams they have played they lost to one and couldn’t run the ball at all against IU and beat a 9-3 Texas team by 7. I think them being favored by Miami by 9.5 is ridiculous. Miami has the best line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball they’ve played all year to this point so why anyone thinks they’ll have anymore or less success than they did against IU is a mystery to me. They’ll still probably win because their defense will hold Miami to 10 or less.
