I submit that it has to last for years and decades like the majority of Louisiana State fans sadly still suffering with PTSD. (Post Traumatic Saban Disorder) which was first identified and diagnosed around 2009 yet sadly hasn’t went into remission for the vast majority of sufferers.

There’s definitely Saban PTSD tied into this for some of the LSU fans. You can see it in the attitude. Even though Bama didn’t steal Saban from LSU they always felt like they did and then it just resulted in abuse. This is their comeuppance. It’s a fricked ego thing. They are taking pleasure in doing to poor little Ole Miss because that’s what they feel Bama did to poor little them. Passing on the cycle of abuse rather than reckon with it.
When you see them rubbing it in just like lol we took your coach because we are better than you, you know that’s exactly how Bama made them feel and this is just them still coping with it, displacing it on Ole Miss

Ole Miss fans are celebrating the fact that their team is about to play in the playoff quarterfinals, and LSU fans are celebrating the fact that they have a new coach.
I'm looking forward to the inordinate amount of shite LSU fans will catch on here when they go 8-4 or 7-5 next year and gratification is deferred for yet another year. LSU fans will have cover, however, and they'll tell us that Lane is still implementing his system and getting his type of players into the system and Rome wasn't built in a day. It will be a hilarious song and dance.
