This will be interesting. I'm waiting for them to announce what gas station sold the ticket.

Holy shite. Never thought I’d see the day.

I used to play but quit after there were those two winning tickets in California that came from the exact same gas station. The odds of that were astronomical, so I decided it was rigged and quit playing

Given that one of Jeffrey Epstein shell corporations won in Oklahoma in the mid-90s, that should have been most people's first indication.

There's also an astronomical rate of some sort of familial connection from the winners to various government agencies and employees that's even higher than you would initially think might be reasonable.

Make up pull. Where else but do that in Arkansas?

Probably won by a Walton on their rare trip inside a gas station.

That's enough money to buy the whole state, except WalMart.

Don't forget Tyson Foods, Murphy Oil, JB Hunt Trucking and Dillards. Stephens Inc, one of the largest privately held investment/banking firms in the country, is in LR and its founder was chairman of Augusta National for several years. Money many be limited to a select handful but there's more in Arkansas than WM.

The odds increase when you recognize that 1) you can pick your own numbers and 2) you can buy two tickets with the same numbers

Why would someone do that? I don’t know, but Georgia had a guy do it, he won, there was one other ticket the same, so the guy got 2/3 of the jackpot

Relax, just a tongue in cheek comment.

I knew someone who always bought two tickets with the same number. His logic was that if he won and there were multiple winners, he wanted a bigger piece of the pot.

Seems that’s what happened in the California example. A guy bought two tickets with the same numbers.
