Pretty good review, mentioned Bama confusing OU with the huddle and late shifts. High on Ty Ystar, sorry brother.

Thought YStar was on the “Ty Simpson is a good QB but been playing poorly train.”?

In all honesty, we often confuse ourselves with late shifts. Of course OU was as well.

Yeah, this game was actually just what Ystar said about Ty attempting to stretch the defense downfield to get them off the shorter stuff. a bit He said it around 1000 times.

It's not even an allegation anymore, it's just a known fact. The headset communications will eventually be his death knell.

Before I found out Ty was hurt I seriously thought he started using drugs or someone banged his mom in front of him because it was night and day difference. If he’s getting back healthy, look out Indiana!!

Great and scary breakdown. Mateer had some bad reads with some missed open receivers. Hope D gets that cleaned up

Yeah and I apologize for this. Part of me hoped that if I pointes it out enough there is no way KDB and Grubb wouldn't know it.

I watch games the same way. I watch breaking down what is happening because I feel if I can see it my coaches will be able to.

The good thing is that we won’t have to be as worried about his legs.

I also hope that he will be shocked by higher level defense with exotic schemes.

YStar was never wrong about it though. Maybe he hammered the point a bit hard but the game proved his point pretty damn well. We hit a few deep passes and all the sudden Oklahoma was a bit more guarded about their coverages. They even played 3 high safety looks some though it often became cover 2 or 4.

Happened all season. We've also been greatly aided by other teams' drops. Of course, we're good guys, so we balance that out by dropping a ton of catchable balls ourselves.

No defense is perfect. Watch any film and you will see two dozen mistakes. Football is fast. Sometimes the offense can’t capitalize on it.

Yeah there will always be a missed block, catch, read or throw. It happens, we just don't want thst happening consistently.

It annoyed me when other fans and media kept hammering their dropped passes as if we didn't drop some of our own. It happens, just can't happen when we need them not to.

Same with reads. They kept saying Mateer missed this or that one when Ty missed a couple big play TDs himself. If Ty were perfect we would have scored a couple more TDs on one of the best defenses.

Also that is where my confidence lies. Ty waking up. Don't think about the misses, don't retract in a shell because a drop. Just keep plugging on. Just the fact they saw that ball fly over their heads scared them. Yeah we dropped some, yeah some were inaccurate but we had WRs make big time plays and a QB make fearless throws and that’s how we won
