The board already has. In your estimation, which team matches up with Miami in the trenches? On paper it would appear to be Georgia. But say by some miracle Ole Miss wins that game. Does this board feel less confident that the SEC advances to the Championship game?

I guess Ohio State is chopped liver.

I don’t count Ole Miss out. They’re capable and pretty amped up right now. TBH, any of the remaining teams have a decent shot, just depends on how they prepare and show up for said opponent.

Indiana or Ohio State win the Natty and thats fact and SEC fans know that.

Miami on the other hand is done....

I doubt we get past such a talented Georgia team. About as much as I doubt Miami getting past Ohio State. I figure I’ll be on my 3rd beer and switch over to the idiots’ version of a New Years celebration. Should be about halftime. But like I said, I don’t give us a big chance. Some people are honest.

The SEC actually plays a real schedule, unlike those pansies up north.

And youre gonna lose to them again and thats fact. Actually my Notre Dame lost to Ohio State in the Natty ....no SEC team to be found in the Natty. ND took out Georgia and Ohio State took out Texas.....that again is fact.

Since we are bragging about history Notre Dame claims and gets media votes for a National Title in 1977 with Joe Montana. My Dad went to this game when I was 6. It was their only SEC opponent. I inherited his game day program when he died for that game by the way. Hard to believe Joe Montana was third string until 2 games later in his redshirt Jr year. 20-13. Still won a title.

As a side note Dad said it was unusually hot and humid that day. They were bigger and faster but didn’t know how to deal with the conditions. Then he talked about he and his buddies getting completely plastered after the game. Couldn’t drive home. Fell asleep in an all night diner booth.

We havent had a quality QB since Montana and Theismann....that how sad we are. We land all kinds of 5 star recruits but our QB's are 3 star recruits....Ive posted this in many threads. If ND ever got a top notch QB....look out.

That can be changed with the portal. However if you still want to run a “3 yards and a cloud of dust” offense then it won’t always be attractive to the best QBs. But what do I know?

Neither is Nick Saban for you...

Don’t be disillusioned. That school has a lot of money and brand. The reason Kelly left was because he knew his welcome was worn out there. He had endless 10 win seasons but they expect trophies. Little did he know those great seasons would run dry without that brand. Not to mention how creepy.

Ole Miss could have beaten Georgia in the regular season. They could advance for sure.
