Going to a hostile SEC playoff environment and going toe to toe with an elite defense is very impressive

He is until he loses and then it'll be right back to talking about how clueless he seems.

Those days are over. From here on out Miami under Cristobal will be perennial natty contenders.

With their NIL and him just getting better all the time they will be a force

Kiffin vs Cristobal will be the new ten year war as the national title will run through them for the next decade

You are so insecure it is hilarious - any praise of another coach or team, even sarcastic praise, and you fall absolutely apart

Miami’s OLIne won that game. Football is all about he lines and Cristobal has both. RB’s and WR’s mean very little. And 50 QB’s could have been inserted into that offense and won because the OLine dominated.

You're an idiot. My point is that people overreact to one win or loss here or there. You are proving the point Pastor. Hope your sermons are better than your posts.

Common theme. Saban assistants may be on both sides of the title game

Well, I'm glad. Read my posts to your congregation on Sunday morning. Maybe that'll help keep them awake.

And melting has almost lost any meaning since it's used for any and everything these days.

Miami’s lines of scrimmage are legit and they have elite speed on the perimeter. Could win everything.

Several podcasters that are knowledgeable said the Canes were better along the LOS than Ohio. Most didn't feel the differences were big enough to make up for what they considered bigger ads in OSU's favor in other places. It was particularly made mention of OSU's WRs and Miami's secondary.

That actually came to light a few times last night.

But it's hard to over come 10 to 14 point swings like that pick six. Just rare to win games where those happen. Bama and OU had that happen in each of their games and neither team could overcome it when it happened to them.

But MC lost to two middling teams in the ACC this year, which is as bad or worse than Day's losses last year to Michigan and Oregon. Yet, he beats Day and some on here want to anoint him the new big thing. And most of those same people will say Day is overrated and caught lightning in a bottle last year or whatever. Makes no sense.

MC is the new fashizzle because he beat a coach that's overrated and blows games constantly which is exactly what MC has been known to do over and over. Make it make sense.

Day won the national title last year

Who cares about the regular season as long as you win enough to get into the playoffs

This is the new reality. The expectation was always perfection or damn near perfection for championship teams, but 2 losses will become relatively common and 3 losses will happen at some point.

Miami looks championship ready. Whomever plays them next will have their hands full and then some.

The fact that little freshman WR got hurt & was eager to block a linebacker when he came back in the game is championship caliber football.
