I’m not going to lie, I love the pettiness of community notes on X

No, the crying Irish will carry their butthurt over 2025 in perpetuity!

Y’all are hilarious. Y’all were defending ND and complaining they weren’t in when OU was up 17-0, and now y’all are back to defending Bama.
ND isn’t good. They’re irrelevant.

Regardless of outcome, Bama shouldn't have been there.

As much as I hate the frickers, probably Notre Dame.

So a team that actually won a CFP game should have been out? Shouldn’t OU have been out in hindsight after last night’s performance and how awful they’ve looked the last few games?

Notre Dame should have absolutely been in this playoff...how to make that happen is the question.
Simply adding a Play-In or Wild Card game with Notre Dame vs. James Madison would have solved the issue
Or expanding to 14/15/16
They need to make these tweaks...it's not rocket science

This isn't an Alabama-Notre Dame problem...
This is the fault of the conference commissioners who make $$$$$ millions of dollars, and can't figure out how to make a playoff work properly???
Just 1 simple play-in game would have solved this season: JAMES MADISON VS NOTRE DAME
The people that run this sport are absolutely retarded

Agreed.
Should have never expanded to 16 teams.

Oklahoma learned a valuable lesson ….. they can enjoy ref support throughout the season, but not against alabama. The interior holding by bama is unparalleled.

Not sure what the results of a game have anything to do with who should be playing in it.

Even if they move to 16, they need to get rid of the G5 teams. Unless the G5 team is undefeated and beats some good non-conference teams like Boise State and TCU did back in the day, they shouldn’t be in.

So you think ND would have gone 7-1 in SEC play?

Possibly. They beat UGA by double digits, lost on a fluke to A&M, and beat Arkansas substantially worse than every other SEC team
