Back in Georgia for a few days visiting family and seeing the grand babies for a few days. Heading out in the morning on Lake Lanier for the day with a few friends. Looking forward to getting back on the old stomping grounds. We will see if I freeze to death. LOL
Heading back to the free state early Monday morning for a long run of days in the low 80's. Wife is working next week so I plan on getting out fishing a few days. Looking forward to that.
Hope you all are having a good week and Merry Christmas to all of you.

You picked the wrong week to come back up. Christmas Day temps around the lake are supposed to be low 70s.

Was in Missoula, now back SE for the holidays.
Next week will be a blur but fun for the kids. Too much good food and drinks

Finished all shopping today. I’ve got nothing to do until Christmas except play music and drink. I’m building two basses and have about half the parts so I’ll get started on those as well.

Can't imagine why anyone would be ON the lake this time of year. But I know folks who get IN the lake and swim in that cold stuff.
Pass.
Pass.

We will be back in the free state late Monday. Wife has to work the rest of the week so she will be sleeping all day and working all night. Looks like 80's all week at home so I plan on taking the boat out and fishing a good bit next week. Looking forward to that.
Man I can imagine how cold it was up there. It will be about 30 in the morning here but I have a hoodie and a jacket.
Will turn my pool heater on Monday on the way home and will be in there most of the week. Thats the difference in a 8 hour drive.
About to watch the Alabama / OU game and have some loaded cookies. But not too many.

Mild for NW Montana, had some highs in the low 50s earlier this week before it turned cooler
Definitely missed the warm ocean breezes. Can’t swim for a few more months but logged some solid miles this morning along the coast.

I think the biggest reason I hate the cold so much when we come up here, other than being borderline pussy, is my clothing. Everything is built for the heat. Hell man I dont even own warm clothing now. All my shirts are performance material so they let the air in and the few pair of long pants I have are Columbia style that breath. I basically have one pair of blue jeans that fit me.
Im just not prepared for it. 30 deg in the morning and I will be in my one pair of blue jeans, a long sleeve shirt with hoodie and a big jacket.

I’m headed to Alabama the day after Christmas for a week. I hope it’s cold and ole split toe comes out in front of my stand.

Looks like I can sit on the back patio with you and just wait for him to come get a case of lead poisoning

Absolutely. I will thrown some corn out there for you and we can light up the fire feature and keep warm.
They are all over. Along with the bobcats, gators, rattlesnakes, bald eagles , coyotes and 10 other things trying to eat us. Its like living in a zoo.
Bobcat on our walking trails.

Are you beside one of the wildlife preserves? Dang man, I’m glad your pool is enclosed.

We get coyotes like crazy. Haven’t setup the trail cam yet, need a bit more leaves to fall
Have seen deer, not much else
Bobcats are assholes

What type of bass you building? I have a left handed Squire that I pluck on every once and a while. When I was a kid I got into playing an upright along with the violin.
Love the Funk...

These assholes are what I worry about. I spend a lot of time screwing around with my flower beds and the love to hide in there. I am very cautious now since we are having a good many of them being sighted. This one was right beside our amenity center and was seen about 5 times in one day. I have no idea why someone didnt grab a shovel and finish his arse off
