Will Chambliss play for Ole Miss?

At a news conference it sounded like Trinidad Chambliss is trending towards entering the transfer portal.
Will he risk a possible injury that could potentially jeopardize a new NIL deal?
I'm quite sure that his agent is barking in his ear reminding him that Ole Miss has a less than 5% chance of winning a Natty.

If he does, good luck to whoever picks him up. Just what every team is looking for, a QB who abandons their team in the playoffs for a chance at avoiding an injury that hasn't occurred and getting more money elsewhere.
I'm going to assume bad troll until I see otherwise.

And this is the problem with transfer and NIL . I don’t like the way this is going

Of course he plays, this is likely his last season.

That guy has one more year (maybe) to make $$ playing football.
He has to optimize his earnings

If athletes opt out of the playoffs then what charade of competition are we supporting

What are you talking about? He never said anything about not playing in the playoffs.

0% chance he doesn't play. His waiver is flimsy and he's unlikely to get it approved.
Even then, he still wouldn't miss the playoffs.

I recently watched the 5 star Georgia QB recruit flip to Vandy for a reported 1.7 million dollar NIL deal.
In contrast, Chambliss is a proven talent.

The same thing that has been going on with NFL bound players.
In this case, he may be looking for a deal like Carson Beck was able to secure with his last year of eligibility. (roughly 3+ million)
Some of the these more experienced QBs can make as much or more than a rookie QB in the NFL.

Alt much?
Would you put it past Lane to purge the roster after they wouldn't let him coach?
Ole Miss should have just let Lane finish out and quietly part ways after the season instead of giving him an ultimatum.

My rhetorical question only emphasizes the likelihood that he is gone.
I feel sorry for fans like Pickle Weasel who seem invested in a decent Ole Miss program.
The Ole Miss administration did little to mitigate the damage.

He’d never step foot in an nfl locker room if he did

These kids have agents and publicists now. They're hired to make everything you say sound like the best deal in town.
