1st year contend for playoffs, kick the tires
2nd year in playoffs
3rd year nattie

He also confirmed 2020 bama was the greatest team of any sport in the history of the universe. Narrowly edging out the particle morphers of ursula major.

unless they win it all this year (lol) he's looking at 4 losses in every season he's been there.

When will he be on track to not lose a quarter of his games?

Imagine Bama's reaction!! They've spent the last few weeks telling LSU fans how bad of a coach he is, how he's a fraud, and how they'd never want him.

I'd be sad to see DeBoer leave. I like the guy and think he has done a good job. Not saying I want DeBoer to leave and Kiffin to come in. But the absolute flipout by the corndogs would be GLORIOUS. Yall are still salty over Saban leaving back 2004.

It’s not going to happen, but if it did, Chicken would have to lock everyone in the Coaching Changes board for a month.

The most encouraging thing is his recruiting.

You're putting all of your eggs in the Kiffin to Bama basket. It might be wise to have a backup in the event he doesn't come to Bama when your current coach leaves. As for him possibly leaving LSU, yeah it would put us in a tight spot but we'd find someone. He hasn't coached a game here yet so their isn't the same emotional attachment Ole Miss has.

DeBoer's recruiting is because he's at Alabama. Alabama, even before Saban, when we weren't on probation we always recruit at a high-level. When Bama fans harp on DeBoer's recruiting it's a sign they don't know much.

I mean if it makes you feel better to look at it that way without any other context be my guest.

In reality we've improved greatly from year 1 to year 2. He didn't get a recruiting class really at all before his first year due to when he was hired. Lost a bunch, had a few incoming transfers. Managed to bring in the #4 class in his first recruiting class.

This year we only lost 2 regular season games, made the SECCG and we did it while playing the 4th toughest schedule in college football. Which I'm sure most people have no idea how signification that is, but if you know, then you know.

And then thus far we have the #2 recruiting class this year. Meaning we are getting good recruits and the type of recruits that fit his system and what he wants to do.

Which is probably why deep down you are all hoping he goes somewhere else.

I'm very pleased with how things are going. We are ahead of schedule. Reminds me a little of 2008 when all the Florida fans were throwing us the sugar bowl lip. Not quite the level of 2008 obviously, but still showing signs of great progress.

So basically recruiting is an automatic failure for any coach in your opinion.

I think we are all confused. is Kiffin good and a great coach to have or is he bad and Alabama would not want him?

We are getting mixed signals from Bama fans.

Coming from the fan base of the school that gave their coach a 10-year $130m extension after finally beating BAMA & winning one natty. 40 years wandering in irrelevance does such damage.

HAHAHAHAHA.

Only way Lane heads to Bama is if at least half the BOT die.

Nick didn't have the power to get the gig for Lane at Bama.
