Look at his last year at Washington barely beating scrubs. If Deboer doesn't have 2 weeks of prep time we are likely getting beat by good teams. I fully expect us to beat OU then look inept against Indiana. He beat a more talented Texas team at Washington with prep time then looked terrible against Michigan. Oh yeah how could I forget the offensive line coach!!!

How come when anyone criticizes this staff are we automatically labeled as a alter? This staff hasn't proven anything except they can do less with more. The offense has been terrible the last two seasons. He needs to fire Sheridan Grubb and the running backs coach. On defense he needs to fire Freddie Roach.

If all you do is complain about your favorite team, then you’re probably an alter.

How would you have attacked a top 5 defense with the players we had available Saturday?

The triple option is what any self respecting UNA Lion would say here.

Throw quick passes to the spot vacated by a blitzer…it’s not that hard. Hot routes, Roll out the qb. Sit the qb that was having a mental breakdown or panic attack.

In his last 3 years he’s been to the playoffs twice and the national championship game once with the possibility of making that twice. Some of y’all are such miserable fricks

I mean should we congratulate them on putting a mediocre product on the field. These guys get paid millions of dollars players included. They deserve the criticism.

Do you think he can run the playoff gauntlet and win a championship? He's getting paid to win championships not struggle with scrubs

They conveniently only show up after losses.

Bama lost because of :
Grubb craziness
Ty mental issues
Multiple issues to key players
Williams being useless
Georgia basically being at home
Georgia being motivated and improved
Bama offense being finesse with no running game

Bama had no chance in this game.

In all fairness, criticism is always going to be the majority of a sports board. It is really just a matter of where the criticism is coming from to be honest.

Just less to say about things going well. Sucks but that's the reality.

I mean, I hear what you're saying. I do. And I agree that there were definitely obstacles that hindered us on that side of the ball. But these guys are paid a ton of money to figure some shite out and at least get the better of them occasionally. Jim fricking McElwain came up with a genuine masterpiece of a gameplan against a 2011 LSU defense that was infinitely fricking better than UGA this year with a first year starter at QB and Marquis Maze as his WR1 before having to pivot to little used Kevin Norwood because Maze got hurt early. Those were different times I know, and I'm not demanding perfection, but they couldn't come up with one goddamn well executed shot play or fool them at all? Not once? Literally anything? Our best plays on offense were well timed defensive penalties. I think I'm a bit more measured in my criticism than most right now, but I understand why people are angry.

What. No. Not at all.

Life is littered with love hate relationships of all manners. How do you think fanbases like the Cubs even got by during 100 plus year championship droughts? It wasn’t sunshine and rainbows. It was sarcasm and self loathing.

You don’t have to be a sunshine pumper but every post you have made is critical of the team and staff. Most people at least post some things they like. Otherwise it gives off an alter vibe.

Even those fans found something to cheer about and love. They didn’t only rag on the team.

Good point. It would be miserable to be 100% against the team you root for.

True but I didn't post anything until I felt the need to criticize. I've read this board from the time Saban was hired until now. Been a Bama fan my whole life. Of course Saban wasn't perfect but he put a good product on the field to watch each week. He didn't struggle with teams that sucked like South Carolina, FSU, and teams with losing records. Deboer and staff struggle every week almost. Deboer seems like a likeabke guy but he has got to make changes or Bama will be starting from scratch with someone else in a few years.
