The two teams with the most "potential" to win it all (OSU and Georgia) are in the same pod.

I think it could be a lot worse. Is your “potential” to win it all subjective or based off something? Just curious

Well, both programs have shown the ability to get it done already. Their the only 2 schools in the field with NC winning head coaches.

Georgia is #1 in composite talent, OSU is #3.

I still think the brackets are pretty fair with how things worked out. Ohio State lost. So whether you bump UGA up to 2 or leave them at 3, both are in the same bracket. IU deserves number 1. What would you do?

You're right about that. I'm not saying it should have been different(because it couldn't be), just noting that that side looks a lot tougher overall. Just my opinion of course.

The team in disarray is #2

Maybe it clicks for the Tide. Maybe

Yea, because OSU didn't just lose to one of the teams on the other side---?

Ya, but OSU has more ponies to run the gauntlet.

OSU lost their last regular season game last year as well and look how that turned out.

Buckeyes would still be favored to beat Indiana if they met again and for good reason.

Overall, the committee did the best with the rules they were given.

The really good teams that get left out for the benefit of the Tulanes and JMUs is what sucks.

Maybe one of them will win a game.

Personally, I would have loved to see Vandy travel out to Oregon for an upset.

They probably would be favored but none of the top 4 teams seem much better than each other. Gonna be some good 2nd round games.

There is no doubt it would be better for the 4-5 & 8-9 teams over the 6 & 7 seeds to only have to face one of UGA and OSU in the final

It doesn't really change the calculus too much for UGA and OSU who were going to have to deal with each other likely anyways.

For sure. Top half looks much better than the bottom half. Better records, too!

Bracket is fine except for the 2 red headed step children.

SEC teams playing in the first round: I think Bama gets revenge, Aggies outlast Miami. I'm not sure on the Ole Miss game. Ya, they're the better team, but we all know the storyline(distractions). I honestly don't know what to expect from the Rebs at this juncture.

it's normal for one side to be a little lower

I would have preferred to see Oklahoma play JMU and Alabama play Oregon.

But alas, I'm glad not to be in the same bracket with Alabama.

Playing a program three times during the same season would be INSANE

Personally I was glad that we played Alabama in the SEC CG rather than Ole Miss.

Ole Miss is totally unpredictable at this point.

Is it possible this was done on purpose to give Bama a much easier path to a NC?

Is it also possible that Cignetti is the most secret of Bama agents? No one would suspect an Indiana sleeper cell.
