Arkansas is the best 2-10 team in the country. How do they get left out of the playoffs?

I was hoping the idiot committee would read our record backwards and slide us in.

Please. Nobody ever wants to see that on the field again.

I have long advocated for a Futility Bowl, a game featuring two winless teams so that at least one of them could finish on a high note.

This season there is just one FBS team without a win, UMass.

Perhaps they could be matched up with a 1-win teams, Charlotte, Georgia State or Oklahoma State.

The game could be played at a high school stadium which might even look full if it is small enough and the losing coach, not the winning one, gets the traditional Gatorade bath..

Probably be a ratings juggernaut for them.

I think they should take the highest rated G5 school and make them play the worst SEC school in a bowl game every year just to prove a point.

Give the G5 school 5 million to play in the bowl instead of a playoff spot.

It would be way more interesting.

I would agree assuming you got the SEC team to give its best effort. Just don’t see that happening. Gonna have a ton of players opt out and in the portal, so I’d bet the G5 team would win 90% of the time

It would still be more interesting. What these G5 schools have coming for them in the playoffs is going to be BAD. Real bad.
