Im here to eat crow and accept anything you guys want to throw at me.
Even after last night Mike Bobo has proven me wrong all season but last night was masterclass plain and simple. I won’t complain about him again
Stacy Searles deserves a raise. I was very upset with the hire and he proved me completely wrong, every week they have gotten better and better and last night with a back up center he deserves his flowers.
After seeing what I saw last night I believe the bama monkey is off their shoulders and that defense where in the hell was that all year?
This team can beat anyone after watching last night. Last and not least I apologize for the Disney dawg comments and my behavior on this board
Let me have it.

I think I’ve said this at some point about him every year going back to the Richt era.

We have the best head coach in America and he knows what the hell he's doing. It's really that simple.

Bobo is not perfect, but he is very good as long as he has the weapons. A little complaining could be warranted, but many on here need to stop nitpicking every single decision and play. (Not necessarily you....but I stopped checking in on the game thread because every single call somebody complains about it.) Those doing the most complaining do not look at the game as a whole, but look only at singular plays. They probably never played football past the middle school level and don't understand that sometimes you set up plays for later in the game, and maybe even for future games.

Although I'm not sold on his recruiting (Although he has done well lately...or is getting help) I think he does develop OLinemen. It's a slow process, but it can be very rewarding watching players develop.

Nah. You came on here and put yourself out there. That takes guts.

Look, Bama had beaten Kirby 7 out of the last 8 contests so any objective observer had their doubts.
The teams have roughly equal recruiting talent so I thought it would be another close game that could go either way.
I sure didn't expect to win by 3 TDs.
But also objectively the stats were much closer than the score.
The blocked punt, the INT and Bama's decision to go for it on 4th and 2 deep at their end made the score lopsided.
Our offense played well but the real difference was our defense. We got a lot of pressure on Simpson most of the game, we shutdown their running game and our defenders covered their talented receivers very well overall.

You’re not worth a squirt of piss. And certainly not the time it would take to feed you all the crow that your broken soulless shallow arse deserves

I also think we’ve vastly improved since the beginning of the season. I certainly said things that I don’t think are true today pertaining to most of all that. If we continued playing the way we did early on then we’d all be griping.

Some people are emotional pussies. It’s ok, that’s why being a real man is not for everyone.

Some folks are gonna bitch and moan right through these glory days and miss the fun of the ride. Fans don’t see 6.5 days of what’s happening inside the House of Payne, practice, or meeting rooms. But they think they can outcoach and/ or are smarter than Kirby and Staff. It would be funny if there wasn’t so many of those morons running around yelling it at the top of lungs.
Kirby, Bobo, and Schumann have done a damn good job coaching this team this year. This is a young team that continues to improve and get better.
Back to Back SEC Champions.

You're looking at the wrong data. What happened in previous seasons simply isn't relevant. Kirby's not starstruck or cursed vs Alabama. He's played them close just about every time, even when they had better talent. Despite grandstanding from Bama fans, it wasn't a trend carved in stone by talent or coaching or mindset.
This year the talent levels are still very close, but the game data told a different story. I take BCF's advanced metrics and adapt them to SEC only games. Based on those numbers, our young team has been improving since we played Alabama in game four, while their team has been stagnant. After the end of the 8 game regular season, the opponent adjusted data pointed decisively toward Georgia as the #1 team in the SEC. We were decidedly ahead of Alabama in the final SEC efficiency rankings.
Statistics are not a guarantee, but they are predictive. Just like 2021, that's the main reason Georgia was favored in the rematch. Georgia was playing better football.

But also objectively the stats were much closer than the score.
Objectively, the stats were skewed by skewed officiating and by the fact that Kirby coached the 2nd half with confidence that Georgia had the game under control. Even after they had a long penalty aided touchdown drive, he knew that the only way we'd lose was unforced errors, and he coached accordingly. Fans panic in tense situations, Kirby doesn't. That's why he's the best in the business even if his coaching philosophy isn't always measured well in the box scores.

It felt a lot more like 65-7 than it did 28-7, and I'm here for it.
