Does winning the conference championship games mean anything to anyone now?

Regardless of playoff implications to me it still does, at least the SEC championship game.

The others? Never mattered to me one way or the other.

Does to me. I watch sports and go for a team with hopes of winning championships. Why else watch

Nope, don’t care at all. Atlanta in November is totally overrated.

It should. For the SEC a win means either solidifying a bye or guaranteeing a playoff spot

It never did. You had a team that wasn’t good enough to even make the SEC championship game years ago and still got to play in a two team title game.

I grew up with the game meaning something. LSU has played some awesome games in the conference championship.

But the college football I grew up with is gone. The SEC needs to adapt and that means the game may not have a future.

It's definitely something but in this day and age the playoff overshadows it.

It's like conference championships in basketball. Fun to win but the only thing anyone actually cares about is March madness.

It's still an SEC title and that is the second best finish to a season.
