You know what this means ofcourse. In the next day or so, Campbell is going to be getting a big extension. I wonder if some of these coaches (or their agents) aren't spouting some of the 'leaks' out themselves.

They will get somebody. But when you fire a coach that was in the playoffs the year before it sends out serious red flags about expectations

Why don't they just hire Terry Smith. He is their Head Coach for now and the players seem to like him. It maybe a great hire. I think part of Penn State problem is there was too many other Power 4 schools who needed a Head Coach this year. If it would have only been Penn state and Group 5 schools they most likely may already have their guy. But with Florida, LSU, UCLA, and VT all needing Head Coaches it made it harder. The way it is going now, anyone on this board may have a chance as Penn State next Head Coach! It seems like no current Head Coaches from a Power 4 school wants the job!

Thanks for that. My company read your post. Not long after, I get called into HR and informed I'm being given a huge raise. They didn't try and negotiate or anything.
