Just throwing this out there since I always see the first two accusations, I thought I would levy a third.

LSU baseball didn't need any preferential treatment to beat a fully rested Florida squad in the 2023 national championship best of three while Paul Skenes watched from the dugout.

Didn’t Florida win the basketball NC last spring? Why are you crying?

I wasn't being specific, just speaking in general, and congrat's again to LSU.

I am not crying, just asking a question. I can't remember anyone accusing LSU of getting preferential treatment in baseball, but people claim it all the time about Bama football and Duke basketball, so I am just asking if anyone thinks LSU gets preferential treatment, being the powerhouse in baseball like Bama is in football and Duke is in basketball.

I don't think they do, nor do I think Bama & Duke get as much as everyone says they do, hence the question.

I'm just being snarky. The hypocrisy of the media outcry over Lane Kiffin has me in a mood.

But yes, LSU does usually receive a very good seeding for the postseason. Well earned, but we hardly ever get snubbed.

Because it doesn't happen.

Auburn played Duke in Cameron last year. The refs were big time bias. It was laughable. Course I have O and B glasses so....

I never feel consistently fricked by the umps when watching LSU baseball

As opposed to watching LSU football vs Bama

So maybe LSU baseball does get a lot of help from that perspective

LSU got left out of the 2011 college baseball tournament despite having an RPI of 21.

Ok I will put you down for a big fat No.

And I don't pay that much attention to it, I would say no as well.

But it is not necessarily a bad thing to get preferential treatment because you have to earn it over a lot of years.

Yes, I'm aware. But once in the last 40 years is hard to get upset about. Let's be honest, we were the #6 national seed last year and our regional was very, very favorable.
