Non SEC but possibly future SEC related-

Belichick appears to have gained some momentum on the recruiting trail, and he actually may stick around there longer than I would have thought. His first season was an unmitigated disaster but he’s got the young trim there and it seems he’s laying some pipe and some roots in Chapel Hill.
Does UNC move the needle as far as a desirable school in the SEC? What would be the best additions to the SEC? Ohio State is reportedly not happy about the Private equity deal that was recently shot down, but it’s been quiet lately. Personally my belief is that the conferences got too big for meaningful games. I would have preferred OSU to play Oregon and Southern Cal this year.

Both the Big Ten and SEC would happily take UNC.

Incorrect. Clemson fits the SEC better than any other acc team.
And for those in this thread that mentioned duke. You lose your southern boy card immediately. Your sec card is on the verge of being revoked.
I know Mike Pressler. I’m a friend of Mike Pressler. Mike Pressler has been on my Mississippi farm.
What duke did to Mike Pressler is unfathomable to decent people.

Give me Duke over Clemson. UNC + Duke would be a solid add to the SEC.

Having lived in the tobacco road area once upon a time and interacting with the fans of all three schools, I'd rather have NC State.

I feel the same way except that Clemson is the kind of trash we need to keep and subjugate.
For basketball, we'd getting another blue blood. I can't imagine Kentucky would like that much.

16 is plenty.
If you asked me to rate the ACC schools, then UNC would be at the top of the list, but that still doesn't mean that adding them would be a good idea.

Doubt anyone in power is seriously talking about expansion. Created more problems than it solved.
