Brewer didn't do anything that other coaches at the time weren't doing. Pat Dye was a notorious cheating bastard. My father in law has told me stories that few people know about. But it was the same with Stallings and Bowden, etc.

I am happy the saga is over. I will say I would’ve preferred if Lane had an entirely different personality than he has with the same football talent and stayed.

I do hate what we covered up. It makes me question Ole Miss as well as question him. It makes us look bad.

Maybe not cover up, but all the unconfirmed reporting around his activities during the Kentucky game last year, Egg Bowl this year, Juice, and all the released DM’s from him being a weirdo with women around the school and town. The selective outrage to wait until he was gone to bring any of it to light.

I don’t like that we only wanted to attack all of these things once he left.
