Not SEC-related, but interesting nonetheless

According to 247 Sports, Penn State currently has the 134th ranked overall recruiting class for the 2026 cycle. There are only 136 D1 classes included in these rankings.

Furthermore, Penn State's "Composite" 2026 class is currently ranked dead last at 150.

Oh how the mighty pedophiles have fallen.

I have no idea what Penn state is doing. They fired Franklin to get a head start, just to go all in on Siatke and get shite on by Crumbl cookie.

I know ole Miss is getting a lot of attention, but they’ll be fine just being located in the south and playing in the SEC. Penn state is going from a top 10-15 program to the literal dumpster.

Doesn't hurt my feelings at the moment, but realistically they'll probably shore it up after they hire a new staff.

More reason for them to change these signing/transfer/coaching dates, lest it happen to one of us in the future.

Whatever else we might say about the LSU-Kiffin process, they were smart to get it in place early and have something recruits could plan around.

Leaving this crap hanging around indefinitely is just a billboard saying “Look somewhere else”.

They will, eventually, be fine. Penn produces a decent amount of talent and they are in the middle of some rich recruiting grounds. Short term however, they're going to get buried.

Instead of a 1 year restart they might be looking at a multi-year rebuild.

This is what Franklin did to us when he left. Made sure every recruit decommited so we had NO class. He didn’t even take all those players to PSU. He just wanted to make sure that we regressed to make him look better. I was fine with his leaving but not how he did it.

As to PSU they will be fine once they get a coach and a staff. Might take a few years though.

I wonder how many coaches have told them no at the point. I know Elko, DeBoer, and Sitake have all said no.
