More entertaining? LSU fans hyping Kiffin or Ole Miss fans completely shitting on him?

Gotta say, it's a toss up.

Entertaining is a toss up.
Kind of pitiful and sad, you have a runaway winner.

Ole Miss fans saying he had nothing to do with 50 wins the last 5 years is pretty funny.

Just imagine what they could have accomplished if Matt Luke had been retained.

Kiffin is a decent coach but LSU fans have convinced themselves that he's actually better than Saban. Much in the same way they convinced themselves that Brian Kelly was actually better than Saban.

I haven’t seen one LSU fan assert this

Bama fans shitting on him because Nick advocated for LSU and they got Karen instead.

This is just the appetizer. Wait until Lane loses game three for the main course to arrive.

Literally no one is saying this. Saying Ole Miss still deserves the playoff, can have success with Golding, and has built a good NIL infrastructure that will outlast Kiffin are not the same thing as your straw man.

I can understand why OM fans are reacting the way they are. I mean, if the shoe was on the other foot, LSU fans would be doing the same or worse.

No doubt

But there's the problem.
The shoe couldn't possibly be on the other foot.
And they know it.

Understand: LSU just signed a 7 yr deal. Kiffin is 50, Saban is 74. If Saban would have agreed to that, he's 84 at the end of that. I absolutely don't see him coaching into his 80's, period. Kiffin will be 57, almost certainly still on top of his game.
Saban has been retired the past 2 seasons, while NIL and the portal have evolved significantly. Kiffin has coached through this, and has done very well in that arena.
Saban built Alabama up in the late 2000's, and rode a mature program for the second half of his time there. Most of the second half, the program's focus was acquiring talent and running a potent offense, while defense has been "adequate". Saban's area of expertise was defense, he initially built elite defenses at LSU and then early Bama. He deferred to Kiffin and then Sarkisian for the offense, kept going that way afterwards. Bama slid some because when they left, their offense dropped a bit. At the end he was stuck with Milroe, and unable to develop him.
Kiffin built Ole Miss way more recently, and was still tweaking things. He focuses on offense, which is the modern game. He had a nobody in Matt Corral playing at a high level, took a cast-off (Jaxson Dart, who was pushed away from USC by Lincoln Riley) and made him a 1st rd pick, then you have this year--- he picked Austin Simmons as the starter. Simmons got hurt in game 2 against Kentucky, Kiffin forced to play a D-II transfer backup (Chambliss). That D-II guy has passed for 3k yds with 18 TD and 3 int, gone over 300 yds in 7 of his 10 starts, ran for 470 and another 6 TD.
If you want to say Nick at his prime is better than Kiffin at his prime, sure. No doubt about that. Right now? Give me the guy who is still actively coaching.
