Coach 1: inherited a team from Peterson with an .885 win percentage. An a-hole that doesn’t recruit.
Coach 2: inherited a team from Jeff Scott with a .129 winning percentage. Nothing but praise from previous school, likes to recruit.

Had access to the portal all 3 years, Tampa and surrounding area talent, one of the highest budgets in the AAC. Best finish was 4th

USF had an incredible turnaround and they did not use the portal much compared to other teams in the conference.

No one knows how these hires go til you’re in it, but he is a lot less laughable than Freeze as a person so that’s a good start
