Everyone talks about “something needs to be done” about the current state of college football and college athletics. Isn’t that their job?? What the frick?

Your post is not very specific, but the Supreme Court has pretty much told the NCAA that they don't have the legal authority to regulate the sport in any meaningful way. What else do you want them to do?

Every time they've tried to do anything over the past several years, they've been sued and lost in court.
A lot of the same people bitching about the schedule (ie coaches) are part of the AFCA and the oversight committee that make recommendations to to the NCAA on things like rule changes and recruiting/portal windows. But like I said, 100% of people will never agree on anything and the ones that disagree just sue the NCAA and win in a courtroom.

1. Do away with early signing date or move it up to August.
