Everyone except for them agrees the best thing for the players was to let Kiffin and the rest of the coaches complete the season and possibly win a national championship. You may have still lost Kiffin in the end but gained a championship and a nice ball cap.
How are the players supposed to go out and win it all for leadership that doesn’t have their best interest in mind? What a cluster!

Seems it is only saban, herb, and lsu fans for some reason.
But I truly appreciate the continued interest in our program.

Most have opined that is objectively the dumbest thing that’s ever been said. Maybe Booger McFarland stated otherwise but he’s a complete moron.

Saban fired him the week of the NC game in 2016 for the same spoiled brat low integrity behavior

Alabama had Saban and 140 offensive analysts on staff when that happened, completely different circumstances.

No. The vast majority are actually of the opposite opinion.
Your post is a poor and somewhat unintelligent attempt at revisionist history. What’s the point? Just be happy you got your guy and move on.

How can Lane coach the playoffs and the Trans bowl at the same time? Lane can't be trusted to coach Ole Miss in the playoffs. I heard the team voted and told him to pack his bags.

Just a few of the folks who went on record as saying OM should have allowed Lane to coach the team. Pretty sure there isn’t a coonie in the bunch.

To paraphrase Bo Schembechler regarding Bill Frieder, “Ole Miss football will be coached by an Ole Miss man.
Wonder what Saban would’ve told Frieder with whom he had no affiliation? Probably the same thing Bill Cowher is telling Kiffin now.

That's 5 people, and the last 2 are clinically retarded.

Saban told him to take the LSU job and was on Gameday saying OM should allow him to coach his team.
No wondering about it

frick the players. Majority of their starters are pay to play anyways.
Best chance ole miss had to win a NC was to let him coach. They decided they would rather not win than have Lane win it for them and then go to LSU. It is what it is.

I gave five examples.
