Saban is a complete fraud and hypocrite.

Retired because he didn’t wanted to deal with the equality NIL brings and whined that it was because of a lack of player loyalty. Hated “money” in the game.
Now we see him advising Lane to follow the money and pursue greater fame even when it destroys loyalty to players.

Add Mizzou to the list of fanbases crying over who LSU hired!

I don't think anyone really knows what Saban said to Kiffin or what kind of advice he actually gave him except for Saban and Kiffin.

Saban doesn't hate the money the players are getting. He just wants it done in a logical way.
If you've listened to his interviews you'd know he wishes finances/timing (players and coaches) was structured more like the nfl.

Saban doesn’t like what the game has become but he probably realizes that it suits Kiffin pretty well.

It’s fitting that your username is “low end” followed by your team LSU.
Low end LSU.
Low end LSU.

Saban's strength was recruiting to stock-piling talent, organizing, and toughness. He was not necessarily a chess-master X & Os coach. These things drove him out of coaching
* He couldn't stockpile talent and had to recruit them every year.
* He couldn't be as tough on the players as he needed to be without them demanding more money. The players were starting to run the organization.
* It was getting harder and harder for him to get good asst coaches every year.

He said to go where he thought he could build the most competitive roster consistently.

You def took some liberties here. When did Saban bitch about player loyalty?

He actually didn't do that. He advised Lane that LSU was a better job because of the recruiting base, so he wouldn't have to portal as many players.

Equality? Those that have the most money, buy the more expensive gifts.

I think if this cfb environment was in place when Saban started coaching he would have excelled at it. Just think he was getting too old to want to adapt.

Mizzou fans on this board have weirdly hated LSU since the SEC stupidly let them in the conference

Saban still has a soft spot for LSU. He would rather see LSU successful than Ole Miss.

Saban is a crybaby, unethical, immoral piece of shite for a person.
He is however the GOAT CHEATER.

He didn’t tell him to follow money. lol. He said you go where you can recruit the best. LSU and Ole Miss there is no comparison when it comes to recruiting.
