I have no beef with LSU fans or them playing this whole thing up....

If it were our teams, most of us would be pumped and laugh at the tears from the school we took the coach from, especially it being a rival.
But if this doesn't work out...and by workout it almost has to have at bare minimum an SEC championship if not a national title, it's gonna be glorious.
I won't be pulling against LSU so much as Kiffin. And I probably speak for 90% of SEC fans that are not LSU fans.
I probably wouldn't pull for UF to beat LSU or GA Tech to beat LSU if that matchup happened.
But right now, I'd kind of be 50/50 on Auburn vs. LSU and UTK vs. LSU. Everybody else, I'm fully behind you as long as it costs my team nothing.
And Ole Miss, my second fave SEC school now.
LSU HC is a straight-up sorry excuse for a human being.

College football is literally pro sports now. Why does everyone care now? This is what everyone was crying for with players getting paid and playoffs.

I wouldn't trade my coach for any other coach now. Your coach doesn't even have any hardware except an Egg Bowl Trophy.
Just don't like the guy. Has nothing to do with your school. Can't make it clear enough. If he had gone anywhere else and done the same crap the same way...I'd pull against him there as well.

I can respect that. Would feel the same way if he had left one of our rivals. I can respect an MSU fan not agreeing with me for sure on that part.
But while I wouldn't feel sorry for my rival, still wouldn't wish Lane well.

It's not the same and you know it. Terrible comparison. If Lane was set to substantially up his income, I'd agree. Still would be terrible for him to try to threaten Ole Miss to keep his coaching job until the end of the season, though.

No one said he's not allowed.
Other things you are allowed to do.
1. Cheat on your spouse.
2. Leave your wife and kids for someone else.
3. Pay your child support, but ghost your kids.
4. Only visit your parents in the nursing home on Christmas or their birthdays.
5. Lie to a person about your wealth, occupation, marital status etc. Date them a few times. Screw them and dump them.

The weirdest part of the whole saga is reading threads started by LSU fans truly melting about Ole Miss not allowing Kiffen to continue as coach through the playoffs. They are sincerely pissed that their new coach isn’t being allowed to also coach his former team.

He took a better job than Ole Miss.
He wanted to finish coaching the season and the playoffs but Or Miss would not let him do that.
So he left.

Koreandawg its going to be ok. Go spend some time with family. Go on a nice walk. You are hurt because you honestly believed LSU wasn’t a top ten job and now facts state otherwise. Its not that big of a deal little buddy.
