Kiffin could’ve bolted earlier but he stuck around and gave you an 11-1 season with a playoff birth.

He didn’t have to do that. LSU has wanted him for weeks now.

They are so ungrateful to the first coach to win 11 games for them!

So Sad!

They were allowed to sit at the grown up table for a few years and are mad their sit got taken by daddy this year so they have to go back to the kiddy table.

How many wins do you think Kiffin would have had here without the pretty massive NIL resources he had at his disposal? How much of it was Kiffin, and how much of it was the infrastructure?

Ole Miss’s problem is they didn’t have enough hot yoga instructors. I’m sure they have great ones, but obviously not enough for Lane to bolt like this.

He went 10-2 in 2021 before NIL had taken off.

ETA… Ole Miss was 3-9 in 2019 before Lane got there. I’d say turning it around in 2 years to win 10 regular season games without NIL is pretty good.

This has the chance to be an amazing steal or an epic nuclear meltdown....will be fun to watch it play out.

You’re right. Prior to Kiffin, Ole Miss had a massive history of success
