This is not even close to CBK, DeBoer, Lincoln Riley, Bert, or even Mullen. Those guys weren’t even “available.” LK clearly was.

LSU’s floor is so high that a lot of you don’t realize how god awful Kelly’s tenure actually was.
In a span of 4 years he managed both the statistically worst defense and offense in school history (separate seasons).
Kiffin is the most competent coach at LSU since Saban & is absolutely going to wreck shite.

It was the biggest splash hire this year unless Penn State pulls something crazy. I can't really think of any other big jobs still open. I think they were kind of dumb to fire Franklin tbh.
