Safe to say Ole Miss tried to call Kiffins bluff and it blew up in their face

Why force a decision? If they let it play out, it feels that kiffin may have actually stayed while OM talking to other coaches. Now all coaches are hired and they promote within with barely anyone left in their offensive staff? I don’t understand what Keith Carter was up to. Did no expect Kiffin would take anyone?

Yeah, Keith Carter overplayed his hand. Oh well.

They have really inflated egos for having never accomplished shite. Spent a year in north Mississippi and the entitlement is wild.

The walk of champions is more like a stroll really. Like 10 or 15 ft i think. Blink and you miss it.

No one except LSU fans or OM haters are taking this position, but okay. It’s natural you’d want to defend it. Anyone on here who has played organized football before knows it was a spineless move. Enjoy the metrosexual!

Because we’ve seen over the last month that Lane Kiffin would make this about Lane Kiffin and not about the kids who deserve it. Him lashing out and forcing the staff to leave or lose employment proved that fact.

You guys couldn't let him finish the playoffs because you were scared he'd poach coaches and players, so he had to get his staff in place to start working. If your AD wasn't a complete dipshit this wouldn't have happened. CLK would be focusing on ole miss and the playoffs but you guys couldn't get out of your own way.

Because that’s what Lane Kiffin famously has done in high stakes environments while employed by another university. Nick Saban agrees.

The playoff would’ve been about Lane Kiffin. Not Ole Miss. Now the players can at least get the attention they deserve for their accomplishments

If Lane could have conducted himself better through this process, maybe. But the way he handled it made it too emotional in all sides.

Lane was with y’all for6 yrs ,that’s about average for a coach to stay anywhere. Most get fired in 3-4 yrs,he led y’all to the best regular season ever and totally showed disrespect for what he did.Do you really believe that job is as good as LSU,ALA,GEO ,OH.ST ,Fno it isn’t and you know it.So your attitude is Fu to wanting one of the best jobs in the country he doesn’t deserve that.Stay here at OM and continue to beg fans to come to the game and you don’t need the best facilities in college sports.Yea that’s the ticket.

Hard to blame Ole Miss here.

Who would sign up for the coaching staff getting paid for Ole Miss to recruit for LSU…

No team is going to keep a coach around that is going to their rival.

What a stupid take

I think it was the other way around. Lane thought he could coach 2 teams and tried to call the bluff of Carter and Boyce. Carter and Boyce dug their heels in and then Lane went straight a-hole.

I can barely read what you wrote. Is that English? Ole Miss has an obligation to Ole Miss. if Lane wants another job, that’s fine, but it has consequences.

Carter definitely looks bad here. Inexperienced.
